Which operating systems does MicroSnip support?
MicroSnip is a native Windows app. It runs on Windows 10 (version 1809 or later) and Windows 11, on desktops and laptops, including multi-monitor and high-DPI setups. macOS and Linux are not supported at this time.
How does the Pro Lifetime license work?
You pay $9.99 once and own MicroSnip Pro for life — no subscription and no renewal fees. Right after checkout you'll receive an email receipt with your download link — just install and go, no license key or sign-in needed. The license is for one person, who may install it on up to three of their own PCs (for example home, work and laptop), for personal or commercial purposes.
What is your refund policy?
If MicroSnip isn't right for you, email us within 14 days of purchase and we'll refund you in full — no questions asked. Payments and refunds are processed securely by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record.
Do future updates cost extra?

Does MicroSnip upload or collect my data?
Never. MicroSnip has no account system, no analytics and no ads. Your captures, recordings and settings are stored only on your PC. The microphone is accessed only while you record with "Microphone" selected as the audio source.
Which file formats can I export?
Screenshots are saved as lossless PNG images and can be copied straight to the clipboard. Screen recordings are saved as H.264 MP4 videos, which play everywhere — browsers, chat apps, video editors and phones.
